FAQ

Q. What is the Dress Code?

During Henley Regatta guests to Fawley Court are reminded that the dress code is very traditional.

GENTLEMEN

Gentlemen are required to wear lounge suits, or jackets or blazers with flannels, and a collared shirt. A tie or cravat is preferable but not compulsory.

LADIES

Ladies should dress in a manner as befits a formal occasion. Dresses and skirts should be of modest length defined as falling just above the knee or longer. Trousers must be full length. Whilst not a requirement ladies are encouraged to wear hats.

Q. What time does hospitality at Fawley Court take place?

Your day packages are from 11:30am-6:00pm. The bar closes at 5.30pm.

Q.  HOW SHOULD I GET THERE?

Travelling to and from Henley during the Regatta is unpredictable unfortunately. If travelling by car we would advise approaching via Marlow and not coming in via Henley town centre. We appreciate that it is difficult to judge the traffic but unfortunately we are unable to allow access to the site before 11:30am. This is purely so that we can allow our staff the time to prepare for the day and to ensure that we are ready to deliver the entire experience to our standard. There are plenty of taxis in town during regatta and getting from the station to Fawley Court is a mere 10minute journey and because of the location of the station and the flow of traffic this journey is rarely affected by heavy traffic congestion.

At the end of the day traffic build up is heavy, we again recommend leaving via Marlow if possible. The traffic back in to Henley town centre from the estate can take up to 40minutes. It is possible to walk this far quicker and is not an unpleasant walk. We would recommend that guest pre book their return transport in advance to ensure collection from the estate is prompt.

Unfortunately we are unable to facilitate guests after 6:00pm on site. Guests are however welcome to wait at the entrance gates for taxis.

We are able to provide taxi contact numbers on the day but request that guests book their own taxi to ensure that they are able to hook up with their driver swiftly as they arrive. Fawley Court cannot be held responsible for taxi's leaving the estate without their passengers or with the wrong passengers.

Q. Will I be able to see the race?

Absolutely! Fawley Court is positioned on mid-point of the Henley Regatta course.

Q. What about car parking?

Part of the Fawley Court service to you and your guests is inclusive of valet parking. Our attendants will be available to greet you upon arrival and park your vehicle.

Q. Is there disabled access?

Disabled parking is available on request.
